The Detailing Difference

While a standard wash removes loose surface dirt, detailing addresses the bonded contamination and fine defects that dull a vehicle's appearance over time. We approach detailing logically, focusing on structural cleanliness before moving to aesthetic enhancement.

Our Structured Approach

• 1. Thorough Inspection

  Before any heavy work begins, we assess the vehicle's clear coat. We look for signs of previous poor washing, deep scratches, and measure paint thickness where appropriate. Final recommendations always depend on this initial inspection.

• 2. Safe Wash & Decontamination

  Following a standard safe wash, we chemically treat the paint to dissolve iron fallout (often from brake dust or railway lines) and tar spots. If necessary, a clay bar is used to mechanically sheer off remaining microscopic bonded particles, leaving the paint feeling smooth like glass.

• 3. Paint Assessment & Optional Polishing

  With the surface bare and clean, defects become visible. Machine polishing can help reduce visible wash marring, light scratches, and oxidation. We do not claim to offer "perfect paint correction" as clear coat limits and deep scratches may prevent total defect removal safely.

• 4. Protection Layer

  Freshly polished or decontaminated paint must be protected. Depending on your choice, we apply waxes, synthetic sealants, or prepare the surface for a ceramic coating to help lock in the finish.

• 5. Final Care Notes

  Detailing is an investment. We provide guidance on how to wash the vehicle moving forward to maintain the finish and avoid re-introducing swirl marks.
